up in the air

at 12:58 a.m. today, i loaded my GCash from my BPI account through the Load E-Wallet menu item in the BPI Mobile app.


amount is thirty thousand pesos (P30,000).

the amount was immediately deducted from my account.

i received a GCash Loading Confirmation e-mail from BPI Online (onlinebanking@bpi.com.ph).

unlike before, this time i did not receive any message from GCash.

the transfer is supposed to be real time but 4:30 p.m., the P30,000 is not yet reflected in my GCash wallet nor is it reverted to my BPI account.

early this morning, i tried sending messages through
the BPI Contact Us link (https://www.bpi.com.ph/contactus)
and
the Help Center "Submit a ticket" form in the GCash app.
both times my submissions would not push through.
BPI displays an error message.
GCash simply stalls.

8:53 a.m., i sent a direct message to the twitter accounts @TalktoBPI and @gcashofficial.
they have yet to respond.

10:08 a.m., i requested a 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. callback from BPI by texting 09178910000.
there was no callback.

this afternoon, i finally called BPI's hotline (889-10000) and was told there was an error so my money is now "floating in the system."
i was told to just wait for an auto-reversal.
at the same time, the agent said she will raise my concern to the appropriate group so the money can be returned to my account.  she said that will take around five days.

a neighbor was telling my brother that i texted his wife telling her that someone attempted to open my brother's door nighttime.


huh?!

i corrected him.
i told him:
-  i did not text his wife.  i do not have her number.
-  it was my mom's gate, not my brother's, a prospective intruder unsuccessfully tried to open.
-  the attempt, caught on security cam, happened daytime not nighttime.

interesting how something so simple could morph into something so factually inaccurate 😦
