yesterday, i passed level 1000 in candy crush saga.
(right now it has around 8,000 levels.)
the game was released in 2012 yet;
i only started playing in august 2020, haha.
(i don't really play games.
last one was MyMiniLife in 2008-2009.
before that, pac-man and driving games plus some Game & Watch for a few months in the 1980s.)
my only target was to reach 1,000. having hit that, i've uninstalled the game.
(i do get to stay in popsicle planet.
before that i was in
gummy, choco, pudding and salty planets.)
i'd like to thank my Fantastic Five teammates and those who sent me lives even if i did not request. sorry i wasn't able to reciprocate. i dunno how to send lives without being asked, wah!

i was in bed watching youtube videos at around 5:30 p.m. today when i heard an angry voice coming from outside.
i didn't mind it at first. but then it was getting louder and louder and angrier and angrier so i took a peek.
all along i was thinking the woman was complaining about some misbehaving adult. guess what, it turns out she was ranting about her ward, a youngster!
there on the alley was the boy and to his left was a full-grown man whom she was pressing to reprimand the boy!
whaaat?!
is that how you discipline children these days, you call the barangay?!
i understand Bantay Bata.
this reverse case, however, i find really sad 😢

- one for eating
- one for the car
- one for monitoring
four were shipped from abroad... the last has just been delivered...
he passed away last july 18 ⚱️
(after first being hospitalized on june 12;
and then again on july 14)
all items did not quite make it on time... he was not able to use them at all...
well, he doesn't need them anymore 🙏

first withdrawal was at an ATM.
time elapsed?
less than a minute.
no queue whatsoever.
second withdrawal
was a passbook withdrawal
on behalf of my mom.
time elapsed?
more than an hour.
long queue
because of the enhanced community quarantine.
most bank branches are closed.
banking hours are shorter.
social distancing limits the number of customers
allowed inside the bank at a time.
