it depends

i heard someone calling my name...  i thought i was just dreaming so i didn't get up...  it persisted...  aw, for real!

i opened the door.
ta-daaannn!!!
champorado! 😋

'you're still asleep?  oh, sorry...'

hahaha...  since it's champorado, no apologies needed...  something else, i still dunno...

case-by-case basis 😉

meals and deals

friend:  'what do you usually order from foodpanda?'

me:  'whatever's on promo for the day.'

discounts dictate my meal. 🤦‍♀️🤭🤣

precedence

ordering meals through a food delivery app.

a neighbor wanted two orders of bopis and two orders of lechon paksiw.  my mom wanted one order each of the same.

click-click-click.
done.

my phone rings.
it's the store.  they have only two orders of bopis left.

i text the neighbor.  i apologize saying i know she notified me about bopis first but then there's only two left so she'll have to forgo one in favor of my octogenarian mom.

she readily agreed.

age before beauty. 😊

symphony of goodness

yesterday, my niece sent me chocolate chip almond cookies that she baked.

today, she sent me another batch, this time chocolate chip almond cookies with chocolate topping.
just like yesterday's,
it smelled so yummy
and
tasted really delicious!
(and i'm not saying this just because she's my niece.)

i like chocolate chips.
i like almonds.
i love chocolate.
and yes, you could even have me at plain cookie (wahaha...  easy?!).
put them all together, my taste buds are rejoicing!

when my dad was still alive, whenever we'd have food made up of individually delicious ingredients, he'd exclaim, "tatal man!"

initially i didn't know what tatal was.  he said it's wood shavings.  you combine it with delicious stuff even the supposedly nonedible wood would taste good.
("tatal man!" ~ "even wood!")

all the more a cookie 🍪

shopee

shopee has a lot of games and it's the following i play:

1.  hourly prizes
2.  shopee poly
3.  shopee claw
4.  shopee throw
5.  shopee candy

i also do the daily check-in to get coins.

games 1 to 4 above are not really game-games.   they're more like click and earn coins.

for hourly prizes you get to click once per hour.
for shopee poly, you can click thrice in a day.
for shopee claw, twice per day.
for shopee throw, three rounds per day, up to 1 minute per round.

you can click successively. click-click-click and in seconds you're done, hehe

you win from .01 coin to, i dunno what the max is but the highest i've won is 5 coins, a very rare occurrence.  usually it's just .01.

one coin is equivalent to one peso and you can use your coins to pay for your purchases.
(in january this year, shopee introduced a loyalty program.  i was amused to see they assigned me platinum membership.  it means i completed 55 orders within the last six months 🤭.)

i was telling a friend, i get so happy winning even just .01.  i told him we cannot find a store where i can buy such joy for just one cent, hahaha.  clicking in shopee is part of my daily routine 😂

anyway, of all the shopee 'games' i play, it's only shopee candy that's a 'real' game, at least to me.  it's just like king's candy crush (which i first played last august and uninstalled in october after completing my target level of 1,000 🙂).

so i was playing shopee candy today and there was only one tile left to complete the level.  the thing is, i couldn't find the tile!  poor eyesight, wahaha.  i was checking the board when i saw a fish.  yay!  i clicked it.  boom!  it zoomed toward the remaining tile.  level complete!  🎉  GG! 🤣

once again, i'm happy with shopee 😊
