chances

there's this line that i like to say whenever talking about risks:
"Low probability is not zero probability."

i've dropped it rather frequently this pandemic  ->  to those who are remiss in taking safety precautions. 😠

all this time, i've been using it as a somber warning.

i was watching nightbirde on youtube and the line suddenly took an optimistic turn.

nightbirde is jane marczweski.  she got the golden buzzer in America's Got Talent for her original song "It's Okay," a song she wrote about the last year of her life.

she has cancer in her lungs, liver and spine.

she said she has a 2% chance of survival "but 2% is not zero per cent.  it is something.  and i wish people knew how amazing it is."

yesssss!!!
and in math, even zero probability does not mean impossible.

this time i'm hoping the low probability materializes.

all the best ❤️
