medical clearance

someone sent me a copy of her Medical Clearance Certificate issued by the Quezon City Health Department.

three things struck me.

one.
it says, "RECOVERED from COVID."

oh!  i was thinking the certificate would say "negative for COVID-19."
but yeah, i guess that's for the medical lab results to state, if ever a second swab test was done (after the initial positive result).

two.
it cites "signs and symptoms attributed to COVID-19 infection such as fever, headache, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, or runny nose."

hmmm...  no mention of cough?
the World Health Organization says that's one of the most common symptoms of COVID-19!
well, the certificate does say "such as."  i'm just thinking the template would prioritize the inclusion of a common symptom over a less common one.

three.
it says the patient was "quarantined for 14 days (from <date of swab test when she tested positive for SARS-CoV-2>).
aw!  i have clips from my security cam that would show the person did not quarantine that early.  i sure hope she did not infect anyone.

good health, safety and protection to us all 💪😷🙏
