phone call at an unusual time...

me:  'why?'

caller:  'nothing...'

then the guy chuckled...

aw, he's checking on me!  : }

me:  'i've been good!  i've been good these recent days...  i was good yesterday...  i'll be good today...  i just don't know tomorrow...'

caller:  'why not tomorrow?'

me:  'hehe...  i humor myself...  i don't say 'no'...  i tell myself, 'not today...  tomorrow...'  then the following day, i tell myself again, 'not today...  tomorrow...'...  easier that way...'
