overheard a boy on the street shouting on the phone: 'hindi ako humihingi... hihiram lang!'
~ i'm not asking for it... i'm just going to borrow!woman's voice on the other end says some things...
boy reiterates he's not asking to be given whatever it is... he's just trying to borrow...
they go back and forth repeating their statements with tempers running shorter and shorter...
i feel sorry for the borrower... but i perfectly understand the unwilling lender, too.
givers learn to set limits because takers don't.
