i was today years old when i learned (through a Guga Foods youtube video posted june 2020 yet ðŸ¤) that pineapple and papaya, *separately*, could make meat tender.
you crush the fruit including the skin in a blender, submerge your meat in the slush, and voilà , your meat will be tender.
counterintuitively though, if you combine the fruits, they don't tenderize the meat anymore.
hmmm...
some things really are good individually but not together.
